DCS offer a wide range of EDMS format conversion services from one system to another. We can read most optical, WORM, CD, tape and disc data formats and convert both the image/document files as well as the associated index data.

Canofile migration services
DCS are especially well known for our special skills in the migration of Canons Canofile system data from either optical cartridges or CD. We generally convert the data into Alchemy format which offers all the facilities, in a more updated format, of the old Canofile system. ALL Canofile data is extracted including conversion of the files into TIF multipage format together with the folder/cabinet data as well.

OCR/HTML/SGML Conversion
Sometimes it is useful to have paper forms or documents in electronic forms so they can be edited or published on CD or the Web. The process of conversion into accurate documents can be difficult, especially where formatting of the page is complex with graphics and tables.
DCS have developed our own sophisticated OCR and HTML conversion software which can accurately and cheaply convert large volumes of paper information into electronic form.
Typical conversion formats include Microsoft Office (DOC, XLS Files), ASCII text files, SGML and HTML format.
You can specify different levels of accuracy and quality checks dependant upon requirements. Our team of proof readers / typists can cope with large volumes of difficult technical and multi-language documents as well.
