NEW Kodak i280 Scanner
The KODAK i280 Scanner is the newest addition to the i200 Series Scanners. Like all the scanners in the i200 Series, the i280 can be converted to a sheet-fed unit via the industry’s first-in-category A3 dockable flatbed accessory, which easily snaps into the scanner for documents that need special handling. Other options include a post-scan imprinter.
Features
- 256 MB of memory to accommodate the scanning of non-standard paper lengths. Customers can scan documents up to 6 meters (20 feet), which makes it a perfect solution for applications such as EKG or fetal monitoring charts.
- The duplex i280 Scanner delivers colour, bitonal, and grayscale images at full-speed— up to 60 pages per minute (ppm) or 120 images per minute (ipm) and up to 240 ipm in dual-stream mode (A4, 200dpi, landscape).
- Special Document Mode to scan a variety of exception documents, such as detachable coupons and environmental recording charts.
- Color-on-the-fly to easily switch from bitonal to color scanning mode and back.
- Relative Cropping, which allows users to save file space by capturing only a specific area of a document.
- Electronic color drop-out with grayscale output to remove irrelevant background color without stopping to change lamps increases productivity
- Enhanced Adaptive Threshold Processing (ATP) to improve character reproduction for thick characters, such as logos or signature stamps.
