The Fujitsu fi-6010N workgroup scanner has an evolutionary document capture solution that combines the intuitive, easy installation of a desktop scanner with the productivity of a network scanner. Simply load your documents, log into the network, select the destination, and press the scan button.
The fi-6010N also has the added ability to configure Job Menu buttons so that users can perform a pre-defined set of functions from a single button press. Plus it's Central Admin software allows multiple fi-6010Ns to be managed, monitored and configured by a single administrator.
The fi-6010N can scan in colour or monochrome at duplex speeds of up to 50 ipm. With up to 600 dpi optical resolution, image quality is among the best in its class.
The fi-6010N workgroup scanner offers ultrasonic double feed detection and long document scanning support (up to 863mm), it also features hard card scanning capabilities (ISO7810 standard) and embossed card scanning through the main automatic document feeder (ADF). With a compact footprint of only 315mm (W) x 281mm (H) x 415mm (D) , the fi-6010N installs easily into even the most crowded environments, making it ideal for both front and back office locations.
As it can scan to a network fax server system, scan to email, scan to shared network folders and scan to a network printer, the fi-6010N allows for more efficient device distribution and operation of printers, fax machines, digital copiers and MFDs along with this networked capture device.
Featuring a large touch-screen display and multi-lingual keyboard, it also offers input capabilities that are utilised similar to using a regular computer.
Need to email a document? Enter or select from address book the email address of the recipient, scan the document and touch the send email icon. The scanned image can be sent as a .JPG,TIFF,MTIFF or PDF attachment. The PDF can be made searchable by the in-built OCR software before transmission, for additional security the PDF can also be password protected.
