DCS have become members of the Records Management Society as their ongoing proactive commitment to becoming part of the debate to improve records management in the UK.

The Records Management Society, launched in 1983, is the foremost professional association for all those who work in or are concerned with records or information management, regardless of their professional or organisational status or qualifications.

The Society defines records management as 'The process by which a company manages all the elements of records whether externally or internally generated and in any format or media type, from their inception/receipt, all the way through to their disposal.'

DCS's FileStore records management product has specific functionality for records managers and is aimed at helping records managers who wish to adopt ISO15489 policies to put them in place.
DCS also offer a range of consultancy services to help companies develop and implement a corporate records management policy.
