DCS provide paper capture solution for Target Express

Founded in 1982, Target Express is the UKs largest independant express delivery company. Target provides not just UK deliveries but also global logistics solutions and international mail handling.

PODs are one of the most prolific and important documents which the company produces and in order to access them quickly and provide an efficient archive a decision was taken to store them digitally. As customers sign the documents they are scanned at a number of regional depots before being archived in an in house developed POD access system.

DCS were approached to upgrade the overall corporate Kofax Ascent capture scanning solution and this was carried out in 2005 thereby substantially upgrading Targets handling facilities and providing smoother end to end paper workflow
