Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M Receives iF product design award 2009

Fujitsu's ScanSnap S300M document scanner has been honoured with the esteemed 'iF product design award 2009'. The distinguished prize is a label for outstanding design and shows that visions of cross cultural consumer and environmental responsibility have been implemented in the ScanSnap S300M.
Out of 2,808 selected entries from 39 countries, the judging panel of 28 international design experts decorated 802 products with the iF product design award 2009 – including Fujitsu's ScanSnap S300M, designed by the Fujitsu company PFU Technoconsul Limited.
The newly awarded Fujitsu scanner is on display at the iF Forum of the Deutsche Messe convention centre in Hannover, Germany until August 2009.
The ScanSnap S300M is a highly portable imaging device and one of the smallest A4 colour duplex ADF scanners available, allowing Mac® users to digitize paper documents at speeds of eight colour pages per minute.
The iF panel judges based their evaluation criteria on design quality, workmanship, choice of material, degree of innovation, environmental compatibility, functionality, ergonomics, visualization of use, safety, brand value and branding.
