Canon launches new Mac business document scanners

Canon UK has today launched the Canon imageFORMULA DR-2010M and DR-2510M as its first Apple Macintosh-compatible business document scanners for the creative industries and the wider business market.

The Canon imageFORMULA DR-2010M and DR-2510M document scanners address fast-growing Mac use in creative industries and general business markets and mirror the same compact design, ease-of-use and reliable scanning properties of the ever-popular DR-2010C and DR-2510C Windows version Canon scanners.

The DR-2010M and DR-2510M are both high speed document scanners boasting an output rate of colour scans at 20ppm and 25ppm respectively. Users within the SoHo market will find the DR-2010M appropriate for simple ad-hoc scanning, whilst the DR-2510M is suitable for the general office market for more robust, specific scanning tasks.

The two scanners are compact in design and differ only from the Windows models in their sleek black design and integrated software. The bundle includes Canon’s new CaptureOnTouch software designed for quick and easy scanning, Presto! PageManager, a useful file management tool, and Presto! BizCard that converts and manages business contact details.
