Renault France Automobiles chose SWT's FileStore INVOICE solution to automatically process and manage over 700,000 invoices per annum and to transfer data into its SAP management system.
A subsidiary of Renault sales and service in France, Renault France Automobiles (RFA) specialises in the marketing of the Renault line of vehicles and is responsible for a third of the sales of the entire Renault corporation. The automation of accounting processes will deliver a three-fold benefit: the reduction of manual invoice collection tasks, which are time-consuming, tedious, and expensive procedures; the rapid, reliable transfer of invoice data into the SAP management system; the use of new workflow technology to improve the handling of discrepancies and optimise the accounting validation cycle. Finally, there is the option of accessing digital images of documents, which are available at any time in the Electronic Archive or Document Management system. The elimination of paper work and the automated management of accounting processes will enable RFA to rationalise their suppliers and improve business relationships.
