Ascent Modules

Ascent Capture has a lot of power out of the box. Need more? Good news! As the "Operating System of Capture," Ascent can be enhanced and extended to meet your specific needs by using modules.

Use modules whenever you need additional capabilities in your Ascent Capture process. Need highly sophisticated forms processing? Want to add annotations to page images? There are Ascent modules for you.

Ascent modules fall into three support categories:

• Kofax-supported modules are developed by Kofax or are distributed in the U.S. by Kofax. Kofax provides support for these modules.
• The KPSG modules are developed by Kofax's Professional Services Group (KPSG) to address a wide range of customer demands. These modules are sold and supported by the KPSG group.
• Partner-supported modules are developed by Kofax technology partners or resellers. These modules are sold and supported by the partner or reseller.
• Freeware modules are available from a variety of sources and include source code.
