The Ascent Collection Server is the universal front door to Ascent Capture. It accepts documents
from anywhere using the Internet or a network connection and delivers them to Ascent Capture. Any third party application, digital copier, or multi-function peripheral (MFP) can be integrated into an Ascent Capture solution for ad hoc and batch-oriented document capture.
The Ascent Collection Server allows any client application to obtain Ascent Capture batch and document information. Additionally, clients can submit documents (images, e-documents, and index data) to the Ascent Collection Server which delivers them to Ascent Capture. Because the Ascent Collection Server plugs into Ascent Capture, the world’s most popular information capture platform, you get an enterprise system that can collect any document, transform it into accurate, retrievable information, and deliver it into your enterprise content management system. You can even deliver information into multiple systems at the same time.
