If a user requires a document which is not cached locally then it will be fetched for him automatically from a remote server without any intervention required. This allows companies to set up efficient distributed document and information storage but without the requirement to have expensive inter-office WAN links.

The synchronisation of documents happens on a dynamic basis as changes occur or to a pre-set schedule. This can be done overnight if required when traffic network is low.

The server synchronisation module can also be used to improve your companies disaster recovery plans as in the event of a site disaster your documents can be made instantly available from a synchronised remote backup site.
