FileStore Full Text Search makes the data locked in your documents including scanned documents, faxes, emails, MS Office files, PDFs to become instantly searchable at text level.

What does FileStore Full Text Search do?

Documents can be indexed automatically at the same time as being added to the FileStore server. Users can then have access to every document keyword or phrase.

Security measures ensure that users can only search documents text they are authorised to view.

Power users can access of 20 full text search options including:

  • Fuzzy search
  • Synonym/concept/thesaurus
  • Boolean (and/or/not)
  • Natural language relevancy ranking
  • Keyword density, frequency and rarity
  • Positional scoring
  • Phrase, phonic wildcard, proximity
  • Stemming, numeric range and user definable

Full Text search uses an easy to use search interface, which also helps the non-expert user find what they want quickly. In addition results are displayed in a format similar to an internet search engines.
